We’re not all about performance numbers; we care about the driving experience. But we also care about you and hear you howling for some hard data on our Four Seasons 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C, so here it is.

In its first test, our 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C went from zero to 60 mph in four seconds flat using launch control. (Without launch control, the 4C took a second and a half longer to go from zero to 60 mph.) The Alfa turned a quarter-mile in 12.6 seconds at a trap speed of 108 mph, went from 60 mph to a stop in 106 feet, and pulled 0.96 g on the skid pad. “I'm surprised the lat g is so high,” says Kim Reynolds, testing guru for our sister magazine Motor Trend. Reynolds did the performance testing on our Alfa Romeo 4C because there’s no one better in the business. “With the smaller 17-inch wheels, I would’ve expected a lower number.”

We gave Reynolds the 4C again after we mounted a brand-new set of Potenza RE-71R ultra-high-performance tires from Tire Rack. We weren’t surprised to see that zero-to-60 and quarter-mile times were unaffected, but the Alfa went from 60 mph to a stop in 97 feet and pulled 1.06 g on the skid pad. “The car seemed to be a bit less nervous than before,” says Reynolds. “It still drifts by only thinking the word, which is good, and it seems to have lots of stick, which is also good.”

There they are, our 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C’s insanely impressive performance figures. Now, stop howling and let us get back to driving.
