Infiniti will use Monterey week to unveil an even more luxurious version of the already-luxurious 2016 Q70 long-wheelbase sedan. Dubbed the Q70 Premium Select, the sedan will offer dark chrome accents for the exterior taking the place of brighter chrome elements, a darkened lower rear bumper, dark-painted 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with 245/40R20 all-season performance tires and a modest rear decklid spoiler. The interior, meanwhile, will offer unique Graphite or Stone semi-aniline leather seating, aluminum interior trim, illuminated sill plates, floor mats with contrasting piping and a suede-like headliner.

This sinister-looking appearace package will be offered on rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions of the Q70 3.7 as well as both versions of the Q70 5.6, though not the hybrid model.

"The new Premium Select Edition package gives the Q70 an extra touch of premium elegance that is right at home here at Pebble Beach – or in any neighborhood or driveway across the country," said Randy Parker, vice president, Infiniti Americas.

The Q70 3.7 is powered by a 3.7-liter V6 coupled with a seven-speed automatic transmission, producing 330 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. The Q70 5.6, meanwhile, uses a 5.6-liter V8 to generate 416 hp and 414 lb-ft of torque, also sending that power to the rear wheels or all four wheels via a seven-speed automatic.

The Premium Select verion of the sedan will go on sale in November unless Infiniti comes up with a more luxurious version before then, which is always a possibility.
